The home office we started with#
A leftover corner with a plastic-topped desk, a black gaming chair, and stark 5000K overhead light. Fine for grinding through emails. Not fine for taking calls on video.
The design brief#
Modern Organic. Warm woods, boucle textures, one brass moment, and zero black. Rules:
- No black in the room. Even the chair legs. Everything reads warm.
- One statement wood. The oak trestle desk sets the tone; everything else defers.
- Wool rug does the acoustic work. Kills echo on Zoom calls.
